Notice the incredible diversity in form and color of dahlias, as categorized by the ADS, which began in 1915, the same time period of my grandfather Warren W. Maytrott and his Dahliadel in Vineland, New Jersey! He was very active in establishing and leading this organization from 1915 to 1968!
